Pretty fun overall; more so in subject matter. Interesting characters and motorcycles are of course fun. The story however didn’t go anywhere much. Wasn’t crazy compelling. The Goodfellas-like opening just made think “oh this is just gonna be way worse goodfellas.” Which it kind of was. A 3 star Goodfellas. Nothin to write home about but a fun escape. Maybe 2.5 but I didn’t really HATE anything about it just a lil lackluster so 3.

Really unique movie made with a lot of heart. Great appreciation to detail and realism for the time, definitely nostalgic and relatable. The characters are all well done, very real and none of them feel fake or like they’re doing an impression of a kid from the time. I also enjoy the many twists of expectations from the plot and characters, once again it feels very real. Find me a movie that captures being a young boy in 2008 better.

There isn’t much that can get your heart racing quite like this film. I think there’s something unique in the writing of these characters and finding out about who they are and their lives chaotically as this story unfolds. Many movies can be really good at “showing not telling” but this one takes the cake.
