  In a world where most people half-way watch a movie, this original concept forces you to be fully immersed in the adventure at hand

  What a journey this movie is. First, you’re admiring the craftsmanship of the graphics and the movie’s aesthetic beauty then next thing you know you’re balling your eyes out over a bird and a robot.

  The layers of the movie are like an onion, the more you peel back, the more you cry. One of my favorite themes was the subtle play of how technology adapts to nature not the other way around. Another theme of AI development of emotion as it tries to make sense of the world and complete its task. All these and more were deep while still managing to appeal to children

  Wes Anderson gonna Wes Anderson.

  Every scene meticulously thought about and shot in beautiful long takes while creatively living in the rules of thirds with a vibrant color palette. This movie was such a treat, no one does it quite like him.

  The only reason I personally didn’t give a perfect rating is because I think he went over the top with the dialogue. I struggled to piece everything together but eventually just gave up and enjoyed the ride. This is definitely a dense movie that I don’t mind rewatching and digging deeper
