This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Potentially may have hyped this one up too an unachievable standard.
Firstly, the CGI monkey was an obviously terrible choice. Maybe monkeys are hard to look realistic when CGI’d? Choose a different animal then.
Outside of the monkey I thoroughly enjoyed the movie for what it was.
The biggest knock on the movie is that it happened to be the sequel to one of the all time greats.

The movie was exactly what it looks like on the tin, but I went and saw it in 4DX.
Most insane movie experience of my life - think movie / roller coaster. Big wind fans and water spray. Hilarious experience but it couldn’t be a more perfect movie for it. Could not recommend the experience more

I actually couldn’t believe the performances in this.
A movie about a drummer in music school and his teacher? Sounds like the most boring plot of all time, but I literally couldn’t take my eyes off it.
Hard to watch at times, but it felt so real.
