Oh this was gnarly, but so damn good! A lot of fun and plenty of gross kills and bone breaks that serve up a fun time. Jack Quaid shows he can lead a film on his own, but it is also bolstered by a fun supporting cast ( and I’m becoming a HUGE fan of Amber Midthunder, give her all the praise!)

This marks the first Bong Joon-Ho film I’ve seen, and it was fantastic. It was a hilarious, engaging, 2 hour spectacle of a near distant future of sci-fi that speaks to the greed of corporations and reminded me all too well of my days working at a very certain major corporation when I was younger. The Witch 2015
Unsettling, beautiful set and costume design with amazing dialogue, The Witch delivers one of the most captivating pieces of horror I’ve seen ever. The entire cast delivered and went full throttle from the very first scene. One thing this movie did so well for me was the build up of tension using its soundtrack and the execution of horrifying you as the viewer through the revelation of the buildup, and sometimes haunting you by not showing you what transpired. A24 continues to be one of my favorite studios out there, and for my first Robert Eggers film, I gotta say… holy fucking shit.
