  I don't think it matters who you look like, voted for, sleep with, your age, what part of the world you live in, your hairstyle, who your favorite member of Nickelback is, what type of car you drive, your sex; a good movie is a good movie. You don't have to be a certain "type" of person to appreciate quality cinema.

  The final installment to one of the greatest trilogies ever put to film is one of the most poetic, poignant, and dreadfully realistic films ever conceived. It embraces the idea that love stories that began as beautifully as Jesse and Celine's must still endure the storms of life.

  The type of authenticity on display is something most movies gladly avoid. We all would prefer the magical thinking of happy endings, neat plots and good character arcs. Before Midnight turns all of this inside out and on its head.

  It is, ironically, quite perfect.
