A Real Pain 2024
Best movie this year. What a unique relationship to explore. Cousins (who in my culture are basically siblings). They balance the comedic and emotional moments so well. Movies are like this are the hardest cause what if the emotional moments feel abrupt with the movie being a comedy? But they do it so well because the character designs are so detailed and all the choices just make sense.
Great chemistry between the leads. Made me laugh and cry the most thus year.
