This taking place in Orlando really made me feel nostalgic. The ways Moonee and co played around reminded me of my childhood playing around Florida. Willem Defoe was the best in this movie. This man was all over the place! Overall, a good watch but a hard watch

Mickey 17 2025
30 minutes too long. Love Robert and the range he went through with the Mickey’s. Lots of it reminded me of severance, as everything does these days. Severance is everywhere. The scene with the curved red felt lecture hall — does that not look exactly like the classroom in ballads of songbirds and snakes??? Loved Nasha, a strong woman! Too many men in this movie. Does it pass the Bechtel Test? Probably not. Mark Ruffalo was playing that character a little toooo well. Would never see again, but enjoyed most of the experience.

My Old Ass 2024
4th watch? 5th watch? One of my favorite movies to ever exist. The most beautiful portrayal of my exact age within gen z… but told through the lens of an 18 year old. Maisy Stella is so talented!! The silliness and depth she brings the character is so beautiful to watch. Also let’s talk about Lake Muskoka… I need to be there. So much so, that I am planning a trip there bc of this movie. Ugh!!! The journey feels so much longer than 89 minutes, so beautifully done!
Fav scene: one less lonely girl bc me too
