I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It is a one of a kind portrayal of a well-known story. It is hilarious, quirky, and never has a dull moment. I appreciated the unique yet realistic interpretation of the plot elements, like the nosebleed. Every scene is beautiful to look at (especially the ones with desserts). I love the chosen colors, costumes, and setting. Great actors. I would love to see Jane Austen’s other books be portrayed with the humor and style of this film.

Watched against my will. Shoutout to the person behind the idea of the vomiting dragon with colon impaction.

I felt all of the emotions during this movie and then it left me with a lightened heart, smile on my face, and lots of things to think about. Wonderfully crafted film, every scene and line has meaning behind it. The characters are so lovable. The anti-hate messages and social commentary alone make this movie worth watching, even if you, too, may laugh cry and sad cry during the course.

This is my favorite anime film. It captures family life and its dynamics so well. It’s realistic, adorable, funny, and will leave you appreciating your family a little more. The genealogy tree visualization in the film is just beautiful. I love the message near the end that all the small moments in our family history have led us to where we are today.
