demonic posession as a metaphor for ptsd from sexual violence is actually so based?? like the emptiness and the feeling that something or someone is inside you?? and the loss of agency and the anger of it all? based.
the soundtrack is phenomenal and diablo cody knows how to write fun dialogue, but overall, i feel like it was kinda just okay. it was a fun movie, but i dont think it’ll be a frequent rewatch for me.
megan fox is SOOOO GOOD AT THIS ROLE!! she is surprisingly funny. also adam brody. literally adam brody as a brandon flowers type indie rock eyeliner boy?? incredible.
