  This is a whole vibe. If you know me you know I love a post apocalyptic one (Children of Men being one of my top 5 all time), and this one was very well done. Blood soaked and leaving you to fill in certain blanks about the world building seemed like the right choice. Bonus points for one of my favorite symbols being shown iykyk. I do wish more of the world building was done for us here but I appreciated what we got.

  Honestly upon re-watching because of my embarrassing amount of excitement for the new one, this movie is great. Is it cheesy and VERY 90s at times? Absolutely. Do the special effects sometimes look ridiculous? You betcha ("We got cows!"). Is Phillip Seymour Hoffman the GOAT? YEAH DUDE ("fffoooooouuud, FFFFOOUUD!"). It's just so much fun I want so badly to go to a drivethru for a screening right now.
