Predestination 2014
This was definitely a movie. I thought it was fine, but it wasn't anything remarkable. Not that every movie has to break the mold or change the game. Some movies have a plot or setup that is no different from any other film, but still manage to be well-liked. Predestination doesn't have likable characters, which made me less attached to the circumstances at hand. A twist is built up throughout the whole film, but the payoff ultimately wasn't worth it. The plot is interesting enough of a concept, so I think it was merely executing the intricate story properly, which wasn't achieved.
