Aged rather poorly in a few areas, but still cute for its time.
Number 5 is a fun character, albeit maybe a bit too obnoxious with the constant impressions (despite them making sense in context).
The movie in general overloads with that 80s cheese, it’s very goofy and lighthearted, maybe to a fault.
Short Circuit is a fun time overall, but you can find other sci-fi comedies from around this period which treat the concept of inhuman life making meaningful contact with mankind more delicately.
