The Bermuda Depths 1978
I first saw this movie as a terrified 10 year old staying up way too late because my teenaged uncle was babysitting. The giant turtle death-dragging scene haunted me until I saw it again as an adult, after which Carl Weathers’s shorts haunted me. So many questions: Why can’t Magnus stay awake the whole movie? Why is Burl Ives so drunk? What was Science Dad studying when he died? How the actual heckfire did they get such a crispy-clean remaster of this dank 70’s flim-flam?
