  Scares born of suspense and tension. Wonderful characterization and a story with real weight and thematic poignancy. A fantastic debut from Jennifer Kent. The ending leaves a lot to be desired, but overall, yeah, this is the type of horror I desperately want more of.

  This is everything I hoped Nolan's finale would be. Peter Weller is fantastic as the caped crusader. The writing crackles, the music soars, this is a phenomenal achievement, a worthy adaptation of one of the greatest and most important graphic novels ever. Director Jay Oliva should be commended, lauded, celebrated.
