The Collector 2009
In a mix between a grunge music video and film school audition, The Collector fails to capture any real interest. The excessive gore can’t capture the viewers attention, even for some of the hard core horror heads. The ineptitude of the directing is the most apparent, from the weirdly stylized shots, to borderline creepy shots of nudity. Just like the director, the movie doesn’t know exactly what it wants to be, a saw movie or a hero movie, and it fails at being both. Not even mentioning the ending, which loses even the most dedicated of viewers. Don’t waste your time
