  I mean not a terrible thriller. The first half is much better than the second. In the second shit gets weird with Lana del Rey, jar jar binks, and board game references. It's worth a watch but definitely a movie that believes itself to be more than it is.

  Raw emotion after raw emotion at every turn of this movie. A whole story about someone trying to belong to a group, something to be a part of. A family.

  Despite honestly good intentions Kenji's life keeps unraveling and time and again he loses the people closest to him just after he solidifies their confidences.

  Sandra Hüler gives probably one of my favorite performances ever in this movie. I go from rooting for her, to doubting her, to feeling bad for her. She evokes each and every emotion perfectly.

  Everyone else has already said it: this movie shows that each and every relationship can and will crumble under scrutiny. Life is messy, relationships are messy. We try to work our way through them and despite truly loving the other person things can be chaos.

  An absolutely horrendous movie in the depravity that it depicts. Very tense and all the actors do a fantastic job. With that being said, it's a one time watch movie.
