  Had a whole review for this drafted that my phone deleted and this movie was so unimportant to me that i’m not going to work that hard to recreate it. Largely found Eggers’ mystique as a auteur totally unfounded and stupid here and any idea that there’s much to his writing pretty silly. The production is nice!… But produced very few memorable images until the very end. The final act was ridiculous and showed how masculine this movie was, it’s really about Nicholas and his feelings about being cucked. BORING. Depp was good!

  Ooof! Glad poly relationships are being written about!! But this is not believable - feels overwritten and awkward way too much. And the slow-mo France montages were just silly.
