Gorgeously shot from start to finish, with powerful performances from the entire cast. Even when the Count isn't on screen, his presence is felt in every corner, footstep, and breath.
Every second felt purposeful, I just wish there had maybe been a couple fewer seconds overall.
Not related to the film really but the audience was pretty terrible at our showing - phones on, loud relatively inappropriate laughing throughout at an accent featured heavily in the film, lots of package opening sounds, and people getting up repeatedly. Maybe wait for a later showing if you want to stay in the expertly crafted mood throughout the film.
