I don’t know that I can really write a concise thoughtful review of this film; there is much to talk about but I simply don’t know where to start or what real commentary I can make. One of the few films I’d genuinely classify as perfect- in execution, writing, direction, acting- by any metric a film can be graded by this film more than fulfills any sort of reasonable quota. Solid themes and centralized story structure give the film a significance and real staying power while the spectacular performances and engaging direction keep the audience focused and grounded as the story unfolds. There is some criticism of this film regarding the stereotypes that it perpetuates- particularly…
