Fun movie! I'm sure that the genre mash-up concept could be done better, but it works here pretty well. It's corny, charming, funny and has some really gnarly kills, can't complain!

It's mostly a pleasant hangout movie, there's no intense conflict nor drama, there are no surprising revelations nor tidy answers and arcs, and it feels fresh because of this. This movie is so fucking good. I want to rewatch Hereditary, but I'm pretty sure that this is Aster's best by far. Endlessly engaging and unsettling, watched the three-hour cut again and it never felt its length.
