The lighting coming thru the windows in the office scenes is straight up horrendous. Like what was going on there???
Anyway basically everything else about this movie is fucking chefs kiss pitch perfect. So sexy, playing within the genre all the way without ever feeling tacky or throwback-y. Soderbergh is a master.

The Substance 2024
Stuff that’s “campy” is usually in one ear and out the other for me but this was campy AND also had so much weight to it. You can really feel the love that went into making this, it demands you meet it on its terms and take it as seriously as it takes itself. Completely visceral fucking bad ass film making. I’m so glad I ate my hot dog before it started.
