I fully recognize the main reason why I don't like this series is because I'm one of those guys who read the book and feels "it's not faithful to the original. blah blah blah." But hear me out. I think there's more to my disappointment than the usual cliché criticisms.
This show fundamentally undermines the purpose and intention of the book; and therefore, majorly dropped the ball.
