One of the most clever films I’ve seen in a long time. From act 1 to the end up act 2 I was dying laughing. And as a story teller I was expecting the worst for the end of act 2. I was correct. This is the definition of a DARK comedy. Sad, emotionally brutal but was beautiful in the same way. The visual metaphors in this film really hit the heart throughout the film, especially the ending scene. Nick…

I’m lost for words. Perfection. I didn’t want this movie to end. From the vfx to the insert shots. Everything was unbelievable. One of the best films I have ever seen. Denis Villeneuve out done himself once again. This is the type of film that motivates me to become a filmmaker, to make groups of friends walk out of the theater shocked and amazed. That’s what movies are all about. I need everyone to go see this movie asap. Definitely…

Interesting film. Loved watching it. It was awesome to learn the story about Bob Marley. The way they portrayed story elements was very interesting. It was unique how they showed him cheating on his wife. If you understood the sub text then you understood he was cheating. But I can see why questions would arise later in the film when we were told he cheated. I also thought the flashbacks were bold. I feel like only a limited number of the audience picked up or understood what was happening. All in all makes me wanna smoke a shit ton of weed.

After watching this for 16th time I still stand strong with this being one of my favorite films of all time. From the writing to the editing hands down tremendous. The choices the editor made to remain on Mia (Emma Stone) when she wasn’t talking but listening were brilliant. Ryan Gosling and Emma stone put on an amazing performance that brought tears to my eyes once again. Terrific film.
    I’ll never find love.
