I enjoyed it, but just wish I was more rested to be able to pay close attention to the subtleties during the 3 hours of intense dialogue and telling of a very important and interesting story.
Amazing cast, loved the rolls for RDJ, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Casey Afleck, Mathew Modine… even brief scenes by Rami Malek and Gary Oldman (Truman) were terrific. But especially RDJ. Cillain Murphy was great in a part that had often not speaking during long scenes, yet on camera. He deserves his Oscar nomination, I think.
Ambitious and intense film… and it delivered.

The Holdovers 2023
Enjoyed this movie, mostly because Giamatti is sooo good… he certainly carrie’s the film. Plot / writing is good, not amazing. Loved the Boston scenes.
