  John M. Chu showed in “In the Heights” that’s he’s the best at bringing broadway shows to the big screen. He takes the spectacle up to 11 in this and the scale is impressive.

  The music in the first half is significantly better than the second (excluding the finale) and it drags a little in the middle given its length, but I still loved it

  Incredible movie. Extremely moving. Went to a late showing because my power went out and came back to my power still not back on, BUT I wasn’t even mad about it because this movie was that good.

  I want to sit in a room and listen to Colman Domingo and Willem Dafoe talk to each other. It’s crazy how much they sound alike
