  This movie was not what I expected in a very good way. It’s very fulfilling for the movie to have every single character have their own unique story and have it all come together the way it did. I love a good Steve Carrel performance and Paul Dano is still a weird ass white guy so all is good

  I could not tell you the last time I cried as hard as I did in the first 25 minutes of this movie. Overall lost count of how many times I cried in this but know it’s a lot. This shit is so emotionally powerful and delivers an amazing story. Young Saroo makes this story hit so so hard and the first hour of this movie is absolutely incredible with him as the focus. Dev Patel carries it even further with his great performance as well. Fantastic movie however I fear I cannot rewatch it for the sake of my mental wellbeing
