A father and daughter travel to Canada to meet a wealthy family coming to terms of the head of the family passing away. On route to them the father and daughter get into a car accident when they hit a unicorn and killing it. This shark movie comes from China and while it may have been popular over there, I can not say the same for here. Firstly the shark and often times scenes are too overloaded with computer graphics. Secondly the dialogue doesn’t translate well especially with lines like “if we don’t move, it won’t see us” as if the shark was in Jurassic Park. And an ending that is a complete ripoff of The Shallows. This will easily become one of the most forgettable movies ever made.
This is really Taken 4 but with Jason Statham and you what I don’t care! This movie is exactly what you expect out of a Statham movie where he kicks ass and takes names. Statham is keeping the old school style of action going with the help of Sylvester Stallone who cowrote and is one of the producers on the film.
A disfigured composer finds love in a young opera singer and will stop at nothing until she is his. One of the few silent films of horror that people rejoice which comes at no shock from the beautiful production sequences matched equally with the majestic score to the horrifying appearance of The Phantom himself.
