  There are very few people, if any, that are better than Giamatti at playing giant fucking losers. From the first frame you know exactly who this guy is and he spends the whole movie proving your first impression right over and over. Watching him try to interact with the world in any way other than through wine was so painful and so hilarious all at the same time. He’s a special actor.
