  depressed, miserable, horny 30yo woman without a conscience starts an affair with a depressed, miserable, horny & manipulative 22yo only to regret it bc he gets too clingy & obsessive, then tries to put him in a psych ward— all while serving looks in a plaid and blue barn coat 

  only reason im giving 2.5 stars is bc i feel it dragged on a little longer than it should’ve in some parts mid movie, plus the plot twists weren’t too crazy besides that one. nevertheless, the drama’s good and jake gyllenhaal is too good at playing psychos

  why the fuck is this in the comedy genre

  so bad i wrote my first review to talk about how shit this movie is. so uninteresting, so bland &     so corny it hurts. basically porn for lone wolves🐺 for 2 hours. heh… guess i deserved it… ass movie. really weak writing, why are the talking segments so fucking long ?

  i’m sick of the “quirky guy in action movie trying too hard with jokes that don’t really land” trope. this may as well have been a marvel movie. it felt edited like a sitcom episode that ran for too long rather than an action/comedy movie. 

  only good part was aaron taylor-johnson.
