Yeah... the more I've seen this movie the more I love it. It's still so compelling and stress inducing after having seen it over ten times now, not to mention hilariously funny. It was also the last movie i saw before the pandemic happened. I think it's my personal favorite modern film so it's worth knocking Adaptation off my top 4. Fuck it, five stars.

Damn I hope Arielle is okay these days. She was amazing in this movie and just seems like a very genuine soul. The safdie bros' insistence on using real people in their films instead of just actors is a really inspired choice. Makes it feel that much more real and honest.

This is one of the best stand up specials of all time in my opinion. Was one of the first carlin specials i watched and was obsessed with. Totally blew my brain apart at the time. And it’s almost scary how well this special has aged in a way.
