The Luck of the Irish 2001
Just another one of those feel-good Disney channel original movies, the perfect easy St Patrick’s day watch. Bonus points for the random Cleveland plot point - and a nice reminder that our heritage plays an important role in our formation as humans. Something to be celebrated and proud of, regardless of where your ancestors are from because there is something good that’s come from every heritage. Seems like Disney forgot about that concept lately, but good to see they used to understand it.

Don’t @ me with this rating. This is one of those personal favorites that is cozy, nostalgic, and feel-good. It’s a super easy watch, cliche, and exactly what I’m looking for in a comfort movie. Although the tropes are a bit overdone and it is highly predictable, that’s precisely why you should give this a watch. Just a classic girly pop banger. Will definitely be watching this again :)

This is the quintessential motivational sports movie that you should watch to lift your spirits. It is inspiring, reminds me of home, and makes you yearn for a lofty goal that you would do anything to achieve. It also makes me wish for simpler times when phones and social media weren’t a thing and you actually had to talk to folks in real life, but I digress. I often forget just how amazing this movie is, and after every watch I’m reminded that this is one of the greats. 10/10 recommend, and extra points if you watch it in the fall/winter.
