How tf did they manage to give dialogue-less animals character arcs?!
This is what The Wild Robot should have been. A very simple story, with incredible world building, fascinating folkloric tone, and yes WELL WRITTEN CHARACTERS SOMEHOW. All this film has going for it is the animation, and that’s all it needs to be fantastic.
Also this is a made my people with cats for people with cats, for the most part they do not fuck with dogs.
