  Jefferson Circus Songs 1974

  Third Pitt short on MUBI, and I already messed the order up.
  My favourite so far, I especially enjoyed the "live" action parts, less the hand-drawn ones. Some hate the music, but I mostly loved it. The costumes are fun to watch (watch out for the spoon head).

  Asparagus 1979

  I... liked asparagus before this film.
  Now I'll probably think of it as turd & dick.
  Yesterday I wanted to eat it, today I can't see myself eat it.

  The animation is cool, with clay people at the theatre, and lots of visual inventions. I found the music quite annoying tho.
  I prefer Crocus to this second Pitt's film I watched today.

  Music videos (MTV is namechecked) + (silly) one liners + some bloody action + a good amount of fun = I don't get why this isn't a cult in Italy while the quite similar The Goonies is.

  Since I only saw in the 00s, I think the main reason is that it didn't air on Italia1 at the time.
