Kitty Meng Chui is a masked agent assigned to retrieve a statue stolen from a monastery.
The bulk of the film is set inside an inn full of shady individuals who all want to get their hands on the statue. A talky, slow-ish build up makes way for a better second half with everyone at the inn up against each other. Master kicker Hwang In-shik stars as the main villain.
On the same night - a woman is gang-raped and a mother and her son murdered. Ali (Behçet Nacar) begins to track down the rapists one-by-one but, are they responsible for all of the crimes committed that night? A stolen necklace which ends up in Germany holds all the clues…
Solid Turkish revenge film which racks up extra points for a scene where a main character, chained and held captive, chops his own arm off and buries the machete into his captor’s face..!
