i’ll admit i’m far too biased to review this movie realistically, but as a child of co-parents and a supposed “amicable” divorce this hit so so close to home. this is like the movie version of “when you were made” by the growlers, nauseatingly validating and realistic. also probably the best acting scarlett johanson has showed.

i sleep well at night knowing Hitler is rolling in his grave knowing a Jewish man of color played him as a stupid lunatic. all the subtle hints towards later plot developments shock me every time i rewatch it and the child actors are some of the best i’ve seen. i love this movie endlessly
