Okay look, I've done some thinking and researching, and I've come to a better place regarding sex and fiction. I've always been of the mind that fiction is boundless, but recently had an even bigger epiphany regarding "problematic" movies in that fantasies are written in many cathartic ways we may not understand, and that helped me with certain depictions I felt less than charitable towards.
And then I got pulled in Hellraiser-level directions by this fuckin' movie.

The bulk of the runtime drags too long; I wouldn't mind if it didn't seem packed with things that didn't drive the film forward. So much happens that isn't particularly engaging, which is a shame - it's all bookended by a fascinating beginning and ending. I want to like this more than I do.
