It's okay! Wes Anderson cannot help himself and this movie too ages and hamstrings itself not for the intentional racism-as-a-joke but your run of the mill unintentionally giving himself away with the cab company.

I think if I had known this was a Coen brothers movie I would have been more disappointed by it during, as it stands its biggest downfall is probly how 2010 quippy it all feels. Made worse by the fact that it's just a light cowboy story, light on violence, light on drama, light on pathos.

it turns out 67 years of people saying this is great: not wrong. Tight and compelling, and obviously political for its moment. Stands up great.
