i really want to like this movie, as it has soommeee kind of popularity among “gay people”, but the reality is that this movie is awful. it is completely separated from the Realities of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and separated from any aspect of queerness of trans-ness. this movie completely fails to have any sort of meaningful representation despite the fact that black and brown communities were and still are hit the hardest by HIV and lack of access to healthcare…
