  I had hopes for James Wan, but this movie ended up like any other DC film (apart from the Dark Knight trilogy and Wonder Woman); I forgot about it right after the cinema lights went back on.

  God, it really shows when an action film is led by a drop-dead perfectionist. In a world where the explosive - CG packed action films are becoming saturated, its often hard for action franchises (let alone standalone films) stand out amongst the crowd.
