It for a movie to live up to the hype. This one my stuff only does this movie is old school, Gothic horror. It doesn’t filter itself it doesn’t hold itself back. At the same time, it doesn’t ever exaggerated itself just for show. Everyone in this movie brought their a game, especially William Defoe as always. I could not recommend this movie enough.

I don’t understand but people don’t like this movie. It’s an enjoyable film begin has a bunch of different themes. Now it’s not a perfect film. The editing seems a little choppy. It does feel like there’s probably about a two hour version of this movie that might be a little slower, but more complete. Recently watched this movie on I believe shutter or Paramount+ can’t remember, but the film is very undervalued for its performances. I think the plot is a little too simple for the level of acting that was going on in this film.
