the most glaring issue of this movie was woody harrelson giving “cpr” with no chest compressions and only doing mouth to mouth… bro was not cpr certified and also just wanted to kiss finn cole

to possess the intangible that cannot be owned, an artist, a dream
a flawed conclusion to the trilogy with a dreadful third act, there was so much potential here, but honestly as an enjoyer of X and Pearl I still thought it was a fun watch with memorable moments. stylistically distinct from the other entries in the trilogy. wildly fun gore, hints of giallo, the Psycho references felt forced and overall the references and “homages” were surface level. still, this is better than most horror movies to come out as of late, and I’ll appreciate it for its place in the trilogy but it doesn’t have the same rewatchability as X or Pearl for me
at first I was uncomfortable and at the end I was shocked, sad, seen. I felt seen! even then it’s a tough watch but I’m so grateful this series about the cyclical nature of trauma exists, especially for those of us that feel seen by it.
this was a tough movie to watch while having period cramps… with that said, the gore was a surprise and spectacularly fun
I was having a really shitty day and this just made me feel so much better. goddamn this is my favorite tarantino movie
eh. it was better with clive owen and devon aoki
