  Make a horror movie and replace all the tension with a TED talk you thought was interesting 10 years ago. I could see everything coming from a mile away with this Beck Bennett ass villain. This movie sniffs it's own farts and they STINK.

  There's stuff about this movie that pissed me off. The pacing and the cliches make it weirdly hard to follow especially at the beginning. The depiction of this world as a dream, dotted with exotic characters got old. But in the end it was pretty well written and acted and everything yeah yeah it's a good movie whatever.

  The Eyes of Tammy Faye 2021

  The blazing through decades in minutes approach to biopics skips a lot of Tammy fayes role in this PTL thing and waters down the impact of the larger narrative, but the movie still manages to paint a compelling portrait of her as a true individual with some charisma and moral ideas. Grafield's Jim bakker is accurate and gross to watch. Overall I think it's a somewhat simplistic sorry that's done pretty well, but doesn't address conflicts in a deep enough way.
