Ki-woo always believed the stone about it gonna give him lucky, money... He saw the stone a source of hope but in the end stone became his cause of death. After the whole things happened, Ki-woo putting the stone on river, that means Ki-woo accepting his fate and real truth. Then we are seing what he dreamed about his father but in the last sequence truth coming out. We must not manipulate ourselves by clinging to a fake world to stay in our comfort zone and escape reality.
