Definitely an 80s movie with some interesting decisions, but sooo creative in its world-building. Great eye candy if you enjoy older animation, with the unique fauna typical of René Laloux and a fascinating culture and history. The story is straight to the point yet thought-provoking, an upgrade to Fantastic Planet in both visuals and its English voice acting.
