  You know what? This movie's unfairly maligned.
  It's got a perfect cast (John Goodman as Fred was a no-brainer, I'm sure, but Rick Moranis as Barney is a sublime choice), the jokes come fast and furious (and might I add, the vast majority of them land), and it moves at a good clip.

  Here's something I don't say often:
  this could've used an extra 20 minutes.
  Overall, it's still a solid adaptation, and I'm glad they kept all the important stuff (including the original ending, no Snyderization here), but at times it felt a bit too fast-paced.
