    This movie was a lot less horror and a lot more comedy than I expected. Will Poulter and Anthony Carrigan are both hilarious in the movie and Jenna Ortega is a great protagonist. I enjoyed the commentary of how capitalism can corrupt even the most well-intentioned of us told through Rudd’s character.

    Obviously, we’re all watching this movie for the fun gimmick and Jack Quaid, and neither of those disappoint. Unfortunately, not much else delivered either. The can’t feel pain gimmick is great and allows for both brutal action and some humor, but it loses its charm when other characters are able to take the same brutal beatings as Nate and keep getting up without showing the pain that supposedly only he can’t feel. I am incredibly saddened by the fact that I watched it in a theater with two dude-bros with zero theater etiquette who decided to compete to see who can be the most obnoxious.
