  What a fun film, quintessential Raimi. And sure enough I enjoyed it like much of his catalogue. 
  It mixed the brutal with the funny, and still made you feel. 

  I really, really love watching Billy Bob Thornton. I haven’t watched nearly as much as I should have. But this is another classic ticked off the list. Maybe it’s my bias towards him, but the bloke stands a level above even here.

  Walkabout 1971

  A mesmerising film. Almost Documentary in its Vérité approach, I can't even begin to image how this would have been received when it played in 1971. While watching it in the modern day, I was definitely desensitised to many moments, whether it be the nudity or sexual tension, but this film had the potential to be quite provocative and inappropriate for its time.
