Bland and boring story with unfunny humor and poor pacing. Decent performance from Jack Lemmon but otherwise pretty weak performances overall. Uninteresting cinematography and action also. Overall not the worst but very mediocre.

One of the best sequels of all time in my opinion, great lore building and character development plus fantastic animation and character design. Good action and an emotional story. Great score once again by John Powell as well. Overall one of my favorite animated films ever.

I disagree with the critical consensus on this one, I thought it was a very well done and tense action thriller with a story that has a bit more meaning to it than usual and great performances especially from Chris Pine and Ben Foster. The action is well done and the story does have some pretty surprising moments. The cinematography is also pretty decent and overall I think this was actually one of the better thrillers I’ve seen recently.

Fantastic third installment and an improvement on the first two. Good story and character development. Great performances from the cast. Ben Schwartz is even better as Sonic and he gets a great arc. Idris Elba and and Colleen O’Shaughnessy are great as well. Jim Carrey is fantastic in dual roles and Keanu Reeves is excellent as Shadow. The action is impressive and a lot better than the first two and the cinematography is a marked improvement as well. Overall a great third installment that treats the fans with respect and does a great job doing its own thing while still paying tribute to the games.
