ending the nolan batman trilogy off!! i'm not sure i'm satisfied with the ending because it was a little predictable but that isn't to say there weren't some good plot twists. i definitely felt the run time compared to the two other films, but the cast made up for it as always (anne hathaway i love you dearly).

it's hard not to go into a movie like this with high expectations but wow, wow, wow. heath's performance as the joker is a one-in-a-lifetime type of casting so kudos to christopher nolan. perfection. genuinely unsettling and nauseating at times, i got completely sucked into the character. i know i'll have to rewatch at some point because i probably missed a lot. what a legacy to leave behind, heath ledger we fucking miss you.
