No Country for Old Men somehow pulls it off. The film's nihilistic and anticlimactic ending forgoes any form of catharsis and instead leaves the audience hanging, forced to address the grim reality of the narrative. I admit, It took me a while to come around on this film, but I just couldn't stop thinking about it. The nature of Anton Chigurh and his philosophy, Llewellyn's unceremonious end and the consequences of his actions, it all really stuck with me. On rewatch, I'm certain now that this is a perfect film. So yeah, It gets five big booms 👍👍👍👍👍

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 2003
I love this film to death. A masterclass in setups and payoffs with beautiful set pieces and iconic action scenes. The best in the series in my opinion.
